24V Lifepo4 Series FAQs

How long will a 24V 100Ah lithium battery run a trolling motor? +

A 24V (25.6V) 100Ah lithium battery provides approximately 2,560Wh of usable energy, delivering reliable and long-lasting power for trolling motors.

For example:

At 20A draw (low speed) → approximately 5 hours

At 40A draw (medium speed) → approximately 2.5 hours

At 80A draw (full speed) → approximately 1.25 hours

Actual runtime may vary depending on boat weight, water conditions, wind resistance, and speed settings. Operating at lower speeds will significantly extend runtime.

What charging methods are available for this battery? +

This battery supports three flexible charging options: a 29.2V 20A LiFePO4 charger for a full charge in about 5 hours, a 1000W or higher solar panel with an MPPT controller for fast charging in around 3 hours, and a generator paired with a 40A DC-DC charger for charging in approximately 2.5 hours.

What are the benefits of Bluetooth monitoring? +

Bluetooth monitoring shows real-time battery data on your phone, including SOC, voltage, current, and temperature, for safer and more efficient use.

On fishing boats, it lets you quickly check power while on the water—such as before using a trolling motor or fish finder—without opening the battery compartment, helping avoid unexpected power loss.

Can I connect batteries in series or parallel? +

Yes. KeepKnow lithium batteries support both series and parallel connection for system expansion. For example, configurations such as 2S4P can be used to increase voltage and capacity. Always use identical batteries in terms of model, capacity, and configuration for safe and stable performance.

Can LiFePO4 batteries be charged to 100%? +

Yes. LiFePO4 batteries can be safely charged to 100%. They are designed to handle full charging without significant risk of damage or performance loss.

However, for optimal long-term lifespan, it is generally recommended to keep the state of charge (SOC) between 20% and 80% during regular daily use.
